Overview

The Marketing Manager leads and executes APFM’s B2B marketing strategy. This position drives customer acquisition, customer retention, sales team support, customer reporting and customer satisfaction programs. The Marketing Manager understands how APFM supports our network of over 17,000 senior living partners and leads and develops programs that meet the needs of this customer base. This position has a good understanding of the types of tools and support programs required to drive customer acquisition and retention programs. This includes sales collateral, dedicated customer websites, online support, customer educations programs, etc. This position manages work effectively with a field sales organization and helps the organization develop a strategic B2B roadmap.

Responsibilities

  • New Customer Acquisition: Develop the appropriate suite of materials to drive customer acquisition across the following sales organizations:
    • A Place for Mom Partner Sales Team
    • Hospital and Professional team – CRAs
    • New channels (as needed): Rehab / Nursing Home; Home Care

 

  • Drive Partner Engagement and Satisfaction:
    • Create world class partner education programs that allow our partners to understand the APFM model and understand how they can incrementally grow their revenue and profits through the business model.

 

  • Help Improve Partner Retention:
    • In coordination with the Partner Services Management (PSM) team develop “value added” programs that differentiate APFM from other referral services and truly make a difference in the day to day lives of our partners.
    • Find ways to thank our Partners for their support.
  • Measure Satisfaction & Define “Areas of Opportunity” for the Organization
    • Measure the satisfaction of our partners and define opportunities for future improvement that may also lead to incremental revenue.

 

  • Manage APFM’s Partner Communication Program
    • Execute a bi-monthly communication to partners and drive content in partnership with the marketing and sales organization.

 

  • Be a strong leader and collaborator between Marketing and PSM / National Account Management (NAM) teams
    • Collaborate with our PSM / NAM team to develop a roadmap that meets their needs and helps support the overall channel goals.
    • Be the voice of our B2B partners within the marketing organization and extend this message to other parts of the organization.

Qualifications

  • 5-6 years’ experience working in B2B marketing, content marketing and SEO.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to write professionally for varied audiences (B2B and B2C), and consistently meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong attention to detail and prior blogging/writing experience.
  • A strong communicator and team player.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented.
  • Strong collaborator with the ability to meet the needs of a diverse stakeholder group.
  • Fundamentally sound in digital marketing best practices, and creating content that contributes to search engine relevance.
  • Experience with tools such as Google Analytics, Marketing.Ai, WordPress, etc.
  • Basic HTML is a plus

 

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or similar discipline; MBA preferred

 

Compensation

The position is a salaried, exempt position.
