Overview

The Senior Business Development Manager – InSite pioneers new partnership programs with skilled nursing facilities through A Place for Mom’s newest brand, InSite. The Senior Business Development Manager – InSite works closely with A Place for Mom’s leadership to innovate and develop solutions to present at the C-level within the healthcare industry.  The position is responsible for developing and maintaining partnerships with skilled nursing facilities, and managing a team of Regional Business Development Managers who lead sales initiatives across the country.  The Senior Business Development Manager – InSite helps refine the program, acts as a thought leader and builds the program’s brand.  The position is responsible for strategic business growth, key account management, opportunity capture, business forecasting, and other business development functions. This position requires rigorous analysis, problem solving, decision making, and travel.   This position may be located in A Place for Mom's corporate offices or remote from any major US city with ease of access to a major airport.  

 

Responsibilities

  • Secure skilled nursing partnership accounts
  • Manage a team who secures partnerships within their territories.
  • Develop processes and systems to support long term partnerships.
  • Solicit feedback from customers to drive continuous refinement / improvement of InSite’s offerings
  • Leverage outside sales force management team to drive new partnerships and strengthen existing ones
  • Develop and pilot t new offerings which build upon customer insights and the Company’s core capabilities, working closely with a cross-functional teamDesign and coordinate the rollout of new products
  • Monitor competitive landscape and changes in the skilled nursing industry as a whole
  • Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years in business development function
  • 1+ years managing a sales or business development team preferred
  • Solid experience with skilled nursing facilities
  • Healthcare industry sales / business development experience required.
  • Digital marketing experience preferred.
  • Prior experience acquiring contractual partners and/or setting up referral programs is required.
  • Strong statistical and analytic abilities; Excel knowledge required.
  • This job will require 50% travel.

 

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required.

 

Compensation

The position is a salaried, exempt position.
