Overview

The Hospital Account Manager will build and nurture productive and profitable relationships with contacts and other key opinion leaders within the Hospital/Integrated Delivery Network space. The position will report to the Director of Hospitals and Healthcare Systems. This position will require rigorous analysis, problem solving, decision making, and travel. This position may be located in A Place for Mom's corporate offices or remote from any major US city with ease of access to a major airport.

Responsibilities

The Hospital Account Manager will build and nurture productive and profitable relationships with contacts and other key opinion leaders within the Hospital/Integrated Delivery Network space. The position will report to the Director of Hospitals and Healthcare Systems. This position will require rigorous analysis, problem solving, decision making, and travel. This position may be located in A Place for Mom's corporate offices or remote from any major US city with ease of access to a major airport. Key Responsibilities Achieve sales objectives and develop tactical strategies required to accelerate growth and expand market share position. Serve as liaison between A Place for Mom and key customers within the Hospital market. Attain assigned growth targets and business objectives by leading the collaborative development and implementation of successful solution-based sales strategies utilizing consistent application of SPIN selling and strategic account management. Manage the negotiation, both internally and externally to achieve strategic initiatives. Develop opportunities for collaboration to drive sales growth for A Place for Mom. Enhance the capability of the local sales teams to utilize the strategic account management process for all targeted accounts and other strategic opportunities. Required Skills and Competencies 3+ Years successful sales performance in Hospital Sales and National/Key Account Management. Proven sales and account management skills with the ability to capture and drive growth – within existing account base. Established relationships with Hospital executives and key opinion leaders. Experience in project management. Strong track record in successfully launching new c initiatives and endeavors. Ability to effectively analyze, interpret, and report corporate performance data. Entrepreneurial Mentality/Business Maturity. Ability to sell benefits and advantages in complex environment (i.e. a consultative selling approach). Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. Ambitious, autonomous performer with a proven track record of success. Strong leadership skills with ability to assume additional responsibility with the company (management, marketing, training, etc.). This job will require 60% travel. Education Requirements Bachelor"s degree required. Compensation The position is a salaried position with a quarterly bonus target. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States to be eligible for consideration, visa sponsorship not available.
