    A Place For Mom, the nation’s largest senior housing referral service is seeking an experienced hands-on Senior Technical SEO Manager with a proven track record of success growing inbound traffic.  The ideal candidate will have experiencing with gathering and analyzing large data sets; devising technical and creative solutions and then executing these plans collaborating with product, design and engineering teams as well as assisting content and marketing teams to improve customer engagement. 


    We are looking for a highly motivated self-starter who is excited by mining data, understanding key consumer and business drivers and delivering results in clear and concise way that drives decision-making, strategy and execution.


    • Responsible for compiling SEO recommendations and analyzing deliverables and results to internal teams
    • Assists in the development of SEO strategies alongside senior team members
    • Assist in the production of all SEO-related tasks and deliverables under the guidance of the SEO director
    • Be the project manager for SEO efforts • Help bridge any gap between SEO, social media and other media
    • Continuously improve SEO skillset, staying up to date with shifts in the marketplace
    • Develop a deep understanding of the retail pet marketplace and how search plays a role in the decision-making process
    • Ability to perform keyword research, write optimized HTML tags, provide recommendations on internal linking, content promotion, content creation and implementation of schema mark up
    • Utilize tools such as Screaming Frog, MOZ, BrightEdge, SEMRush, Google Webmaster tools and others to perform analysis
    • Analyze performance data and implement optimizations to increase ROI of campaigns


    • Enthusiasm for understanding the evolving best practices with regard to the technical aspects of crawling, indexing, ranking and driving qualified organic traffic.
    • Experience with keyword research, information architecture, search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
    • Experience with a wide range of CMS platforms
    • Strong working knowledge of HTML, DOM, server Responses
    • Working knowledge of structured data schemas and rich snippets
    • Understanding of internal linking, keyword usage and semantic analysis
    • Familiarity with CSS and JavaScript frameworks
    • Experience with site scrawlers and log file analysis
    • Proficiency with regular expressions
    • Experience with a wide variety of SEO tools from among: SEMRush, OnCrawl, Botify,Conductor, BrightEdge, SearchMetrics, Ahrefs, Majestic, Moz, Screaming Frog, AWR,               
    • DeepCrawl, Search Console, Bing WebMaster Tools.
    • Proficiency with Google Analytics or similar web analytics products, Microsoft Excel
    • Experience conducting correlation and variance analysis.
    • Demonstrated understanding of mobile, video, local and international SEO
