    The Workforce Management Administrator is an important position at A Place For Mom where he/she can make a huge impact to the core of our business: our 400+ sales advisors taskforce. We are looking for someone with the right operations experience who is interested in working at a small company to see the impact of their work almost immediately!


    The position is responsible for administrating our workforce management software that we are instituting in our company for the very first time this summer. This role involves first and foremost- learning how the program works in and out. Further, this role includes key tasks such as:


    • facilitating set up (getting every sales person onto the system, training them on how the program works and how to use it best),
    • facilitating exits (when advisors leave the company),
    • and maximizing day to day functionality (meaning ensuring each team has their forecasts and schedules for the day, firefighting/triaging/trouble shooting issues, liaising with our rep at the software company when bigger issues arise, and overall helping ensure the program is up and running at all times).

    This software will have a big impact on the 400+ sales advisors/ managers and their day to day work, so we are looking for someone excellent to be responsible for its success. This position reports to the Director of Sales Operations and will be a key role in the larger Sales org.


    • Learn the workforce management system in and out / subject matter expert for WFM
    • Liaison with our representative at the workforce management software company
    • Helping onboard sales advisors/sales managers onto the workforce management tool + facilitate in training and answering everyday questions so each salesperson is maximizing the use of the software
    • Ensuring each team/advisor has their forecasts and schedules as expected
    • Manage exits from the system
    • Ensure our day to day functionality is maximized
    • Strong background in managing/leading projects, in terms of figuring out what needs to be done and “making it happen.” Manage end-to-end responsibility for project management life cycle
    • Strong “fire fighter” mentality – ready to jump in, respond and help sales teams experiencing issues; Able to track a trend in the issues, come up with a plan and solve
    • Help lead or support any initiatives that directly or indirectly impact the sales organization
    • Develop strong relationships with cross-functional teams to move projects forward (e.g. analysts, developers, product managers, data scientists, tech support, etc.) + external teams, especially the workforce management software company and their team
    • Develop strong relationships with all sales teams – Regional Managers and Senior Living Advisors



    • Demonstrated project management or program management skills and experience
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills; the ability to manage multiple and diverse stakeholders across businesses and leadership levels
    • Excellent communication with a remote sales team and sales managers + external team
    • Extremely detail oriented, keeping track of our sales teams
    • Basic excel + PowerPoint skills
    • Strong “fire fighter” mentality – ready to jump in, respond and help sales teams experiencing issues
    • Strong Problem-solver
    • Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
    • ‘Get it done’ mindset
    • Self-motivation and drive. Determination to break down barriers to success.


    Preferred Skills and Competencies

    • Workforce management experience is a plus
    • Call Center experience is a plus


    Education Requirements            

    • Bachelor's degree required
    • 2+ years work experience with minimum 1 year of project management experience
