  • Overview

    The Senior Manager, Partner Operations leads projects that positively impact the way A Place for Mom interacts and engages with its network of partner communities.  This role is responsible for the full lifecycle of projects, including technical requirements, testing and roll out to our partner network. In addition to managing projects of his/her own, the Senior Manager, Partner Operations manages a team of project managers. This position reports to the Director, Partner Operations.

         

    Responsibilities

    • Assist with annual project planning process and drive execution of a roadmap of projects that positively impact A Place for Mom’s operations with its U.S. and Canadian partner network.
    • Manage end-to-end responsibility for project management life cycle from requirements definition to deployment, along with issue and risk management.
    • Manage a team of project managers in support of team priorities to ensure each project’s technical requirements are clear.
    • Run meetings with technology and operations teams such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and backlog estimating.
    • Drive project decisions and daily progress to deliver projects on time and within budget.
    • Find the best path forward for the business when confronted with competing requirements and priorities.
    • Take input and drive action from a diverse group of team members across functions.
    • Develop and track success metrics, ensuring the team is clear on their objectives every step of the way.

    • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking and analytical skills and experience in applying project management tools.
    • Sound business judgment and distinction in thought leadership and innovation.
    • Strong people manager
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple and diverse stakeholders across businesses and leadership levels.
    • A bias for action and a determination to find a way to get things done.

     

    Education Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree required.
    • 4+ years work experience with experience in both project and people management.

     

     

     

    Compensation

    The position is a salaried, exempt position.
