  • Overview

    We are seeking a proven leader in analytics for the role of Senior Manager, Analytics.    This role will be multi-faceted, responsible for end to end analytics focusing on workflows, systems, architecture and metrics to our internal and external products.  The role will be the data champion for the systems and processes that generate data, partnering with engineers to design and implement effective solutions with analytics front and center.  The role will support, influence and challenge decisions based on data and insightful analyses.  You will be doing work that matters alongside other talented people.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide expertise and influence the design of operating systems to ensure the data will be effectively captured to meet business needs
    • Partner with technology, architecture and PM organizations to drive future planning of system solutions with a mindset of enterprise, integrated and scalable
    • Be the voice of the business when working with data engineers to develop best in class data architecture and tools
    • Architect and drive to execution plans for actionable analyses that support APFM business leaders and management
    • Conceives, proposes and influences new ideas, gains alignment cross-functionally, armed with data and competency necessary to implement and sustain solutions
    • Able to manage analysts across a matrixed organization
    • Utilize appropriate computational methods to deliver relevant solutions
    • Analyze current business performance and build models to both explain current trends and create forecasts that accurately predict future outcomes
    • Conceptualize and deliver on our end to end analytics processes.

    Qualifications

    • Exceptional analytical and problem solving capabilities, including the ability to logically and efficiently structure ambiguous problems, identify sources of data, conduct complicated analyses, identify key insights and recommend actions
    • 10-15 years of proven and successful experience, with demonstrated increasing levels of consulting and corporate responsibility.
    • Expertise and experience using R, Python, and Spark.
    • Sophisticated, experienced manager with ability to persuade business leaders and managers to drive business decisions while working with technology organization to deliver
    • Skilled at information collection and discovery; demonstrated ability to develop practical, workable solutions. Skilled at learning and applying new technology tools.
    • Highly collaborative: Able to work across functions, geographies, and organizational levels to develop solutions; engages and involves key stakeholders
    • Creates leverage: Able to design efficient, scalable solutions while constantly focusing efforts on the most beneficial activities

     

    Education Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree required. Graduate study strongly preferred.
    • Minimum 10+ years’ experience in analytical environments with emphasis on quantitative and qualitative analytics, operational strategy, data and systems architecture
    • Advanced educational or experience with statistical modeling and analysis, complex computational methods & techniques is highly desirable

     

    Compensation

    The position is a salaried position
