  • Overview

    The Senior Reporting Analyst manages and provides timely, accurate and easily understood information to APFM’s teams.  This position knows how to work with large sets of data, utilizing excellent project management skills and is equally strong at communicating relevant insights.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Be a team player with excellent communication and relationship building skills working across technical and business teams
    • Manage small to medium sized projects
    • Build automated, actionable and accurate reporting suites
    • Analyze current business performance and build models to both explain current trends and create forecasts that accurately predict future outcomes
    • Query and analyze data from various and differing systems (both technical and process)
    • Present and defend analysis to technical and non-technical audiences

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree required. Graduate study preferred.
    • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in analytical environments with emphasis on data analysis, reporting, operational strategy and planning. Relevant experience includes consulting, sales operations, business intelligence, supply chain analytics, or related fields.
    • 3-6 years post-graduate experience at a top consulting firm, investment bank, private equity firm, or conducting key operational and financial responsibilities at a top sales- or healthcare-focused company.
    • Highly analytical: Exceptional analytical and problem solving capabilities, including the ability to logically and efficiently structure ambiguous problems, identify sources of data, conduct complicated analysis, identify key insights and recommend actions
    • Creative problem solver: Skilled at information collection and discovery; demonstrated ability to develop practical, workable solutions. Skilled at learning and applying new technology tools.
    • Highly collaborative: Able to work across functions, geographies, and organizational levels to develop solutions; engages and involves key stakeholders
    • Creates leverage: Able to design efficient, scalable solutions while constantly focusing efforts on the most beneficial activities
    • Demonstrates ownership: Ability to learn quickly, be proactive, and assume ownership for broad tracks of work. This role is intended for somebody who will take meaningful responsibility for scaling and maintaining reporting and analysis
