  • Overview

    The Director, Digital Marketing is responsible for building and managing A Place for Mom’s digital acquisition efforts for paid media across multiple web properties.  In this key marketing team leadership role, you’ll be responsible for building an internal team and managing outside digital agency resources. This role reports to the CMO. 

    Responsibilities

    • Own the P&L for a 8-figure digital marketing budget across current and future domains: aplaceformom.com, senioradvisor.com, agingcare.com among others.
    • Define the strategy and oversee the execution of our digital marketing programs that drive our monetization efforts.
    • Define processes for how the operation should work post-lead, pre-move.
    • End-to-end Paid Media – your team/agency owns all Paid Media deliverables inside and outside the organization
    • Develop and nurture new revenue opportunities – help us grow our nascent advertising and email programs, support our investments in video/tv advertising, and more.
    • Report out results to the team on digital marketing performance (campaign ROI)
    • In support of the campaigns, supervise and optimize SEO/SEM and advertising channels including display advertising, retargeting, content syndication, LinkedIn, and Twitter

    Qualifications

    • 10+ years’ experience in digital performance marketing, with experience owning an eight figure budget. Experience managing both outside agency and internal teams required.
    • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
    • Very strong SEM technical knowledge and skills required
    • Strong analytical skills – you will be living in data all day long and working with a data-centric team.
    • Knowledge of DoubleClick a plus
    • A strong understanding and demonstrated expertise in the areas of website strategy, management and analytics

    Education Requirements

     

    Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related degree.
