    We're looking for a Senior UX/UI Designer hybrid who is excited by the challenge of creating simple, engaging desktop and mobile designs that help families connect to senior care resources.  The ideal candidate comes with the understanding that a world-class user interface is a fundamental part of bringing amazing experiences to users and grasps the challenges and opportunities that are part of creating dynamic, reactive, and appealing UX / UI design. This Sr. UX Designer will primarily be responsible for designing new features in addition to refining the product as a whole. Strategic thinking and product design expertise is fundamental for success in this role.  The result will be great customer experiences, improved business results and a better result for the families and partners we support. 


    • Collaborate with UX/UI leader, product managers and other stakeholders to understand the overall user experience objectives and establish design direction, quality, and workflow requirements for the product.
    • Gather qualitative and quantitative user feedback, customer data and site analytics using a variety of techniques such as A/B testing, behavioral targeting, heat maps, and usability testing.
    • Deliver world-class user interface designs, contributing design expertise and outstanding individual work to the effort.
    • Drive assigned tasks through each stage of production: concept, wireframe, prototype, implementation, and refinement through to final sign-off.
    • Iterate designs according to work reviews, changing requirements, and user feedback.
    • Support conversion rate optimization, design, test and implement UX improvements across the A Place For Mom products


    • 4 to 5 years professional experience designing digital web and/or mobile products for lead generation or conversion optimization
    • Strong cross-functional team experience working with business owners and developers with the ability to execute a design concept, drive art direction, modify and evolve a design based on technical parameters and business feedback
    • Strong knowledge and experience with grid based responsive design utilizing either BootStrap, Foundation, or own custom framework
    • High proficiency using enterprise testing tools such as Optimize, Test and Target, etc.
    • High proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and Illustrator)
    • A bachelor’s degree in interaction design, human-computer interaction (HCI), product design or equivalent UX experience.
    • An online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating experience creating great user-centered design solutions is a requirement for application
