    We're looking for a UX/UI leader who is excited by the challenge of creating simple, engaging desktop and mobile designs that help families connect to senior care resources.  Our UX/UI leader will partner with product owners and brand teams to lead design projects from ideation to implementation throughout the family of A Place for Mom brands. The result is great customer experiences, improved business results and a better result for the families and partners we support. 

    Responsibilities

    • Provide leadership, direction, and mentorship for a team of UX/UI Designers; lead creative and holistic thinking across diverse product releases, platforms, and devices.
    • Deliver a UX vision, along with a plan for evolutionary, iterative updates, that actualize the larger vision over time.
    • Gather qualitative and quantitative user feedback, customer data and site analytics using a variety of techniques such as A/B testing, behavioral targeting, heat maps, and usability testing.
    • Engage key stakeholders and conduct user research and testing to move from wire frames to initial design concepts.
    • Define user work flows, interaction models and end to end work flows in partnership with customers and key stakeholders to create product solutions that meet the varying needs of different customer groups.
    • Bring UX to life by creating mobile and site designs that translate user flows and wireframes to early conceptual design.
    • Use brand standards and your own creativity to drive mobile and on-line design solutions.
    • Support conversion rate optimization, design, test and implement UX improvements across the APFM product.
    • Execute concepts through front end development including HTML, CSS and Javascript
    • Employ APFM brand standards and maintain a living style guide of design patterns and UI components

    Qualifications

    • 7+ years professional experience designing digital web and or mobile products for lead generation or conversion optimization
    • Strong cross-functional team experience working with business owners and developers with the ability to execute a design concept, drive art direction, modify and evolve a design based on technical parameters and business feedback
    • Strong knowledge and experience with grid based responsive design utilizing either BootStrap, Foundation, or own custom framework
    • High proficiency using enterprise testing tools such as Optimize, Test and Target, etc.
    • High proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and Illustrator)
    • A bachelor’s degree in interaction design, human-computer interaction (HCI), product design or equivalent UX experience.
    • An online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating experience creating great user-centered design solutions is a requirement for application
