    A Place for Mom is looking for a Technical Product Manager who is responsible for translating high level business requirements into technical requirements and delivering functional specification documents for complex product features by working in close partnership with stakeholders, engineers and user experience designers.  

    The Technical Product Manager is a key leader of the development team that is jointly responsible for the successful delivery of projects for the CRM applications and all the tools used by the Senior Living Advisors who does the Sales at A Place for Mom and ensuring that the functionality delivered meets the customer needs. This position will also be responsible for the successful delivery of the portal and app that the Families use to interact with A Place for Mom. This person must want to delight their customer.


    • Capturing requirements from various groups
    • Responsible for both business and functional requirements management
    • Coordinating Technical feasibility
    • Making functional and technical design recommendations
    • Creating User Stories and Use Cases
    • Creating functional specification document
    • Ability to assess customer interaction use cases
    • Responsible for status updates
    • Ensuring functional specification matches business intent and goals
    • Providing visibility to project team and Business Owners on changes to a project
    • Providing transparency and recommendations on project trade-offs
    • Providing stage gate management and aid in overall project governance
    • Leading change management process
    • Providing dependency coordination
    • Leading specification, UI, and scope sign-off process
    • Work with the Product Owner in identifying the priorities and coordinate with the Scrum Master in scheduling the work in the Sprints
    • Identifying gaps and conflicts in requirements and drives toward solution
    • Ability to assess technical solutions fits business objectives
    • Surfacing technical and scope trade-offs required to allow Business Owners to make informed decisions
    • Aiding in management and triage of defects for functional areas of responsibility


    • Knowledge of customer engagement and online marketing best practices such as personalization, community and member experience.
    • Ability to think strategically and understand the overarching business goals.
    • Experience in an Agile (SCRUM) environment.
    • Experience in functional analysis and business requirements identification.
    • Experience in developing technical and functional specification documents.
    • Experience in development of Use cases and user stories.
