    APFM is looking for a passionate senior marketing manager that can use their technical skills and marketing knowledge to drive the technical ops and SEM strategy for our digital marketing department.

    Responsibilities

    • Analyze SEM performance data and provide intelligent synthesis, interpretation and appropriate action plans based on conclusions. Scope of which can be related to keywords, landing pages, ad copy, ad distribution, and device
    • Establish and maintain scalable processes that ensure best practices in overall marketing operations, campaign and lead management
    • Evaluate new technologies and add-on applications to improve and optimize marketing team performance
    • Automate marketing processes including incorporation of data into real-time decision making
      • g., bidding algorithms, data visualization, dynamic creatives, etc.
    • Work closely with our CRM, sales, business intelligence, data services, and product management teams to create marketing processes and reporting that aligns cross-functionally
    • Actively manage and implement large scale SEM campaigns across multiple countries with millions of dollars in monthly spend
    • Conduct recurring weekly and monthly SEM optimization tasks (i.e. keyword expansion, ad testing, negative keywords, etc.)
    • Work closely with outside agency to implement full-funnel customer acquisition strategies, optimize bidding strategy, and drive landing pages and ad copy to improve channel performance
    • Identify opportunities for keyword, geography, and channel expansion through data analysis and industry research
    • Audit SEM campaigns for completeness, consistency, and performance. Document any gaps, develop plans to fix or enhance any gaps, and execute those plans to bring campaigns to higher standards

    Qualifications

    • Experience creating and managing a structured best practice approach for managing streamlined cross-channel marketing operations, including tracking, analyzing, and reporting full funnel marketing data and insights
    • 5+ years of experience managing search marketing campaigns and budgets at scale
    • Strong familiarity with marketing technology and desire to master it, specifically within:
      • Search Ads 360 (previously DoubleClick Search)
      • GA 360 and/or Adobe Analytics
      • Google and Bing Ads
      • Marketo and SFDC
    • Deep understanding of Google Ads strategies, keyword bidding, and best practices
    • Experience optimizing SEM campaigns with multi-step conversion funnels
    • Quantitative undergraduate degree with strong academic record; graduate degree preferred i.e., economics, math, finance, accounting, auditing, business analytics, engineering, computer science etc.
    • Ability to thrive (and preference to work) in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with frequently changing goals and deadlines.
    • Proficiency in Excel is a must: Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF formulas are your friends
    • Experience with SQL, Python, is preferred
