The copywriter will provide customers with educational and conversion-focused content that supports the overall customer journey, enabling them to make informed decisions related to long-term care. The copywriter will be experienced using data-driven strategies to develop and enhance content strategy that serves APFM’s business goals. Success in this role will lead to increased conversions and traffic from online channels that result in driving revenue and contribute to APFM’s financial targets.   Who you are: You are passionate, outcome-oriented and eager to join a growing team. She has a reputation for championing the art and science of marketing—from strategic branding and creative development to data and technology—translating high brand value into tangible revenue generating activities.   The position Based in Kansas City, the Content Strategist will report to the Managing Editor, and will ensure the company content strategy delivers on business objectives and a customer’s or end user’s needs. The Content Strategist will oversee content requirements and create content strategy deliverables across project and consumer life cycles, often in parallel. This can include conducting content audits (qualitative analyses of all the content on a network of sites and any additional online exposure.   The Content Strategist will be fluent in developing gap analyses to measure performance against direct competition and to identify business opportunities. The Content Strategist will help create and maintain editorial calendars and style guides, and will develop and/or lead the development of taxonomies, metadata frameworks and content migration plans. The position  Exciting opportunity to join the A Place for Mom team as an outside sales healthcare liaison. This position is responsible for lead generation and healthcare channel move-in goals. In this role you will call on a mix of account types including hospitals and rehabs.   Job responsibilities - Develop and cultivate new professional referrals and nurture existing relationships to continue incremental growth in target market - Generate an average of two direct referrals daily to ensure move-in quota achievement - Convert and advance qualified referrals into customer move-ins together with local advisement team to achieve monthly sales quota - Meet new contacts within hospitals and rehabilitation centers and follow up with referral sources on patient outcomes - Develop and adhere to reoccurring sales calls to ensure strong repeatable referral pipeline   Required skills and competencies - Two or more years of outside sales experience as an individual contributor - Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas - Successfully demonstrated experience in presenting and overcoming objection - Demonstrated ability to thrive in an independent work environment and a willingness to learn - Confident in ability to work in hospital or healthcare setting - Ability to travel locally in territory (daily 5 days a week) - Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Sheets and a CRM (Salesforce preferred) - Healthcare/hospital sales experience preferred - College coursework preferred - If you are hired, you will be required to provide proof that you have received the COVID-19 vaccine within 45 days of your start date    Compensation - Possibility to earn over $100k with uncapped bonus potential - Full benefits for full time employees which includes health, life, dental, vision, 401(k) + company match, paid time off, etc.   About A Place for Mom We’re the leading online platform connecting families searching for senior care with a team of experienced local advisors providing insight-driven, personalized solutions.
